So Macey is stepping down as Master Producer, and we are restructuring the Bos empire a bit. Andy and Nick are doing live streaming stuff, which you can check out at sessions, it's a app for live music, check it out :D (I'm not sure how to link to it at present, but it does exist and Cosmic Bos are on it doing live stuff).
We also have our Cosmic Bos/Acoustic Covers series that continues on YouTube,
Rubber gloves are off, it's knuckling down time, time to business like adults, no more playing in the sand pits of despair, no more swinging on the swing of moods, let's year the hell out of this thing, yeah!
Already we are in the second month of 2021, and it's been pretty much a condensed version of 2020, oh boy, just what we always wanted, more pandemic-ammonium, yum yum, that's a medicine I can happily take without a spoonful of sugar.
It's like we are all waiting for something...
Thanks Anya for acting and singing there, amazing performance. Sorry we kept you waiting so long.

You see, we recorded the album that is Cosmic Bos Improv-Revisation Ep.17: Magic Eye Can Believe In all the way back on the 25th of July 2020, with the 3 Bos boys (Macey, Nick and Andy) and Anya Louisa and Ben Bluebird. It was originally slated to be the penultimate episode of Season 2 (2020), but due to unforeseen circumstances it was pushed back to being the first episode of Season 3. On the very next day (26/7/2020) we recorded another record (Cosmic Bos Improv-Revisation Ep.18: Virtual Normality) with Anya and Ben again. This was originally to be the very last episode of Season 2 (2020) but due to the aforementioned unforeseen circumstances it has now been relocated to the second episode of Season 3 (2021).
Best laid plans and all that, you just never know quite how things will go, so, you know you'll never really know, you know!
Sometimes you don't always get what you Aim for. Take it away Anya
Thanks again Anya, a truly awesome single there, something worth sharing with everyone you ever meet. It is available on all platforms, except train platforms as there is no direct video or musical feature to the rail industry.
If you are in need of a link to the full Anya & Ben episode, find it just below these very words, in embedded player form.
The year is set to continue, I don't think time is going anywhere other than forwards at the same speed it's been travelling for a while now. We here at Cosmic Bos have been running some complex tests, tuning some instruments, tweaking some knobs (completely un-music related activity) and have calibrated our equipment to be able to bring you Cosmic Bos Acoustic Covers (CB/AC), starting off proceedings with a little song called Live Forever by Oasis
Do you know what I mean?
If you do then please email me at cosmicbos@gmail.com and tell me what I mean.
Gosh you are amazing, how do you do it so effortlessly? I want to know your secrets, but not now, this is neither the time nor place for such wisdom, this is a blog about a podcast, the first Cosmic Bos improv revised album of 2021, featuring the outstandingly talented Anya Louisa and Ben Bluebird, without further wasting of your time with meaningless words, I present to you Cosmic Bos Improv-revisation Ep.17: Magic Eye Can Believe In (you already knew the title, it says it at the top, don't go acting like it was a revelation of any kind)

Season 3 starts with a magic trick, watch as we improvise and then revise an entire album from one days jamming session. It's the same trick we have now pulled 17 times, but it's a good trick and it has a vastly different outcome every time, so, ta dah!
Anya Louisa brings a whole new dimension to the Cosmic Bos set up, and Ben Bluebird spices up the music and vocal atmosphere just lovelily, big thanks to them both.
We tackle the big questions on everyones minds, like, is magic real? do Magicians need dating apps specially designed for their illusionist needs? How should you rub your wicker bells so as not to get blisters on your fingers? All these questions and more won't be answered in this podcast, but they might get discussed, maybe. At least you have 12 improv songs with beautiful vocals by Anya to enjoy.
Here are the two video's that accompany the episode as well, should you wish to view them, once you've finished listening to the episode of course :)

First part of 2021 done, only 11 more segments till the new year, oh what fun it is to be alive in these times of time. So with further medication, I present to you 'Aim' by Cosmic Bos, ta dah!
Wow! What do you recon? Any good?
Nick Jackson and myself (Andy Jackson) worked really hard on this video, put our socially distanced backs into it we did, and we are pretty chuffed with the results.

Aim is the second single from
Cosmic Bos Improv-Revisation
Ep.17: Magic Eye Can Believe In
Featuring the amazing talents of Anya Louisa and Ben Bluebird (both stars of the above video)
We shot the video under strict Covid safe conditions, using just a green screen and an iPhone, we managed to capture all the complex action we needed to construct our pixellated dream music video. Anya and Ben both gave outstanding performances, and the Cosmic Bos chaps did their best (good work chaps).

The single is available on Spotify, and the album too (from Feb 1st)
Thanks for being amazing, we love you very much
Cosmic Bos
Here is the youtube version should the above podcast version be being a biscuit (like podcasts can be)
Our new single 'Aim' is coming on the 1st Feb. We are super excited to share this with you all, it is probably the best single we have ever released as Cosmic Bos and the vocal work by Anya Louisa is outstanding.
Here's a sneaky peeky
The video is a homage to computer games, as you can tell from this teaser.
The single will be available on all good streaming sites on the 1st Feb, the cover looks like this, so you can't miss it, please save it and share it, love it and caress it, nibble at it's tender bits and share it with all you socially distance come in contact with.
The album from which this delicious single is taken (Cosmic Bos Improv-revisation Ep.17: Magic Eye Can Believe In) features the amazing musical talents of Anya Louisa and Ben Bluebird, and will be available soon. It's 12 tracks of improv-revised loveliness that can hopefully help you through these tough confusing times.
2021 has begun and we here at Cosmic Bos don't want to keep you waiting around for fresh new music from our musical improv experiment, so we present to you 'Waiting' from the upcoming album Cosmic Bos Improv-Revisation Ep.17: Magic Eye Can Believe In, which features the amazing Anya Louisa and Ben Bluebird.
This song was improvised, and then revised. For the video we bounced around a few ideas, mainly just joking around trying to think of funny scenarios where waiting was involved, before settling on the old 'Zoom' call not working trick. This marks the first collaboration with Anya Louisa and she makes quite an impact that's for sure.
Originally we had planned for ep17 to be part of the end of season 2, but with life happening and stuff we decided to push it back, to allow us the time we needed to make it something special. Anya and Ben are both amazing and are both present for the following episode as well (err...ep18, yep, 18 comes after 17, well done me)
'Waiting' is your first taste of Season 3 of our podcast, the episode from which it has been taken is shaping up very nicely and will be with you in full on the 1st Feb. We have another single and video planned (well, filmed, just not edited yet) for a song called 'Aim'.
So with lockdowns a plenty, it looks like we are going to be waiting around a whole bunch, might as well spend our time listening to podcasts, improv music and comedy ones, from the UK, hosted by two monkeys...know of any such thing?
You can find our show on most reputable podcast sites, and it is also featured on a couple of the really scary ones too, the podcast sites where only the bravest dare listen to streaming audio.
2021 has begun, and we are already just waiting around, but it's got potential to be an exciting and dare I say it, universe changing year, the third season of our show that we just make ourselves unfunded (hint, hint, we want funding) is getting off to a great start, and apart from the apocalypse of society and the general collapsing of reality we here at Cosmic Bos are excited for what is to come. Hooray!
Here is the youtube link should you wish to watch it on that platform
Thanks for your time, hope you liked the video, and check back soon for more improv music and comedy based shenanigans.
2020 done and dusted for prints, there were many, many prints, all over the place, it took a while to dust for them all, and this metaphor has run it's course, so on with the blog.
From the podcast feed, here is Best of Season 2 of Cosmic Bos Improv-Revisation podcast
Cosmic Bos Improv-Revisation podcast, Season 2 (2020) consisted of 7 improv albums, 1 acoustic songbook album, 19 music videos and a 7 part documentary.

So now we look forward, with our eyes, to a brand new year, there is still a funky stench in the air left over from last year, it clearly hasn't cleared yet, so let's keep protecting ourselves. We here at Cosmic Bos are not slowing down though, oh no, we are straight onto Season 3, that's right, we have commissioned ourselves for another season, we decided it was something we would like to do, so we are doing it. The first episode from our third season will be along with you on the 1st of Feb, and the Bos boys are joined by Anya Louisa and Ben Bluebird. 2 video's are currently in the developmental phase, and the album itself is shaping up very nicely, very excited to unveil our 3rd step in the eventual domination of the music industry plan that we have been making up as we go along.
Happy New Year

Our resident monkeys, Jethro & Jeffrey, are joined by Nick from Cosmic Bos to discuss the highs and lows of 2020. There was plenty to discuss, it has been a big year full of worldwide events that effected most people (and monkeys) the world over in some sense. But have no fear, for Cosmic Bos are here to offer up some soothing improv-revised music and light bants to help with the transition into the next potentially crazy year.
2020 Vision, it really has been that hasn't it. High hopes at the start, high hopeless at the end. We've all been through something this year, something that won't quickly be forgotten, some fundamental changes to our very cores, new views on old news, scare tactics and mad frantics, it's not what we planned for and nothing like expected, but it happened and we are still here in some sense, so might as well make the most of it and soldier ever on into the great unknown.
We began 2020 with 'Focus' - a step up in our improv-revised sound, and a step up in our video production. Through the year we have experimented with our Toy videos, done actual animation with lego and cut outs of ourselves, played around with green screen umbrellas, made lockdown music videos, released a 7 part documentary about ourselves and how great we are, as well as 8 acoustic raw songbook videos, and released 8 albums of music with 12 episodes of our podcast. Not bad for such a trying year.
in 2020 Cosmic Bos made 20 music videos, 19 for themselves and 1 for Anya Louisa. You can watch the year in reverse video wise from 'Road Trip' to 'Focus'.
A hoot and a hola indeed.
While 2020 has been a positive creative year for Bos, 2021 looks to be far brighter and creativer, with the Best of Season 2 coming out in January 2021, it will be closely followed by our next single 'Aim', which features Anya Louisa and Ben Bluebird and marks the start of Season 3. We are currently squirrelling away on the pre production for the video, and the album/episode is well underway, still untitled as of this moment of blogging, but it will be released on the 1st of February 2021, so it will have a name before that, and we will share that name once we have come up with it.
So anyway, hope you liked it, our little retrospective. Here is the Spotify embed for anyone who likes their podcast spotty. Please Like, Share and Subscribe to all our fun-ness, we love you forever in exchange.
With 2020 drawing to its inevitable conclusion, and the hopes that 2021 will not be a poorly thought out sequel but instead a brand new bold direction for the Earth franchise, it is time to share our thoughts on this year. Here at Cosmic Bos we have put together a year revi... what?...no, it's the year review thing...oh, that's not todays blog? When is it then?...so this blog is?... Road Trip, of course, sorry, my bad, been hoping backwards and forwards through time a lot lately, got confused what date it was.
Without further adoing, we present to you Road Trip - An animated music video by Cosmic Bos
The video was made by Nick Jackson, using Lego Cosmic Bos and a green screen. The last shot reveals Andrea and Theo sat in the room in which most of our editing took place in 2020 and marks Theo's first appearance in a Bos video (pretty sure it won't be his last)
The song is taken from Cosmic Bos Improv-Revisation Ep.16: Mask and Thy Shall Deceive, and it features Doug Rutter, it's on Spotify and amazon etc. Spotify album link
What a lot of fun that was, the final video in the Cosmic Bos 2020 arsenal. We hope you have enjoyed your time with us this year, we have thoroughly enjoyed our time with you. From 'Focus' to 'Road Trip' we have put out 19 music videos this year, as well as 8 acoustic songbook videos and a 7 part documentary about our antics that we made ourselves to feed our egos. With our egos fed, we are free to pursue our goals of further mining the improv music landscape and 2021 will be our best year yet, with some exciting surprises too.
P.S - Here is the YouTube version of the video if you couldn't get it to work on the podcast feed version, or if you are a streaming video snob who only likes YouTube links over other video hosting sites, we love you regardless of your snobbery.
The darkness has come to talk with us again, this time using Tarot, and some improvisation.
A Tarot Tale - Cosmic Bos
Taken from Cosmic Bos Improv-Revisation Ep.16: Mask and Thy Shall Deceive
Music improvised by Chris Mace, Nick Jackson, Andy Jackson & Doug Rutter
Revised and Mastered by Chris Mace and Nick Jackson
Video by Andy Jackson, Hand acting by Abi Jackson
Tarot is an old thing that has been passed through time, maybe it's just a game, or maybe it's something more, tied into the very fabric of existence, guiding our fumbling mental states towards some kind of personal evolution, letting us talk to ourselves in a way we can understand, or it could just be some very pretty cards that are nice to look at and ponder.
Whatever you think of Tarot, we here at Cosmic Bos have a set of Tarot cards (Aleister Crowley Thoth Tarot) and we wanted to use them in an improvised session to make a song, which is what we did, and this very video is a reenactment of the original Tarot reading (literally, like, just what it says on the cards, no deeper analysis of context or meaning) set to the revised version of the original improvised song.
For anyone that would prefer the youtube link to the video, please find it embedded just beneath these very words that you didn't need to waste time reading because they contain no information and are merely taking valuable eyes seconds away from your life! Your life is slipping through your blinks, and you have just wasted at least a few of them on this bit of writing now, go on, move on, get on with your life, watch the video again, and again, and then share it with a friend, responsibly, don't go trying to force them to watch it, we are not in the business of forcefully inserting our music videos into unwilling participants, make sure they are willing, and then insert it into them, responsibly.
Welcome to the very first edition of Bos Trumps, to kick off this new thing we totally didn't only just come up with, we present to you the Dance Suit, 20 of Cosmic Bos's danciest songs from our ever growing improvised(then revised) song catalogue.
You can find it at all good podcast vendors (and a couple of the really dodgy ones too)
This is the dance suit, we will have 4 other suits coming at some point, but for now, it's time to dance.
So get your dancing shoes on (everyone has special dancing shoes right?) and prepare for a jaunt and a jig as Jethro, Jeffrey and Nick play Bos Trumps.
What is Bos Trumps I hear you ask, well, it's normal trumps but with Bos songs instead of monsters or TV characters or poisonous fruits. What are Bos songs? Well, they are songs from the improv-revisation podcast made by Cosmic Bos. To date (1/10/2020) Cosmic Bos have released 15 improv(revised) albums, and the dancey songs are here in this suit of cards.
Usually the tracklist would appear here, and this is no different, so if you don't wish to have the order of the songs spoilt for you, don't read any further.

This stimulating conversation is punctuated with 11 improv(revised) songs featuring the awesome talent Joe Philogene, deep musical dives into some serious and thoughtful places,
