Healin' - Cosmic Bos (Official Music Video)

Hello friends,

We need to heal the world, together, it's not something we can put off any longer. That's why we made this song and music video, to highlight that aforementioned world issues of required healing.

Healin' - Cosmic Bos
From the upcoming season 1 finale - Cosmic Bos Improv-revisation podcast Episode 9: Six S's, featuring no one but the core Bos team (Chris, Nick & Andy).

This video is made up of several time lapses of art that was done by the 3 Bos chaps (Andy Jackson, Nick Jackson & Chris Mace) and their partners (Abi Jackson, Andrea Jackson & Mel Pellatt). The 6 spent a relaxed long weekend away together, doing time lapse art and dancing around in the forest (more to come on that soon). The theme for our art lapses was Healing the World, as that is the main theme of the song, and we wanted to realise that idea in a few different ways, plus we had loads of art supplies and a big world map, and a spare guitar to paint, what else ya gonna do while it's raining?

This is the first of 3 videos for our season finale, with 'Hold Me in Slow Motion' coming next, which is the one we filmed in the forest, and then finally there will be another instalment in the Tiny Spaceman saga to end out the year.

Plus: On the 1st of December (advent calendar day) the full episode will drop, with 13 new tunes and plenty of silly bants.

Please download and subscribe to our crazy little improv music podcast, pretty please with some cherries on the top (you name the quantity, whatever your cherry loving heart desires)

Deep in the forest: A Cosmic Blog

So friends,

2019 is getting close to the end (although, there is still plenty of time for "stuff" to happen), and what a year it has been. Full of ups and downs, highs and lows, good metaphors and lazy puns, some should know better for's and learning curves like half pipes...well, for us here at Cosmic Bos it has been anyway.

We made/continue to make a podcast, it's on iTunes and Spotify, it's improvised music that we have revised and the put together as an album and podcast. It's hard to describe, you should give it a listen and see what you think. Well, at this point in the year we have released 9 album/podcasts (ranging from 7 to 12 tracks per album), and currently are sitting at 88 songs for the year. We have one more episode/album to come for 2019, Episode 9: Six S's, which is set to be our biggest episode to date, with 13 songs, taking our yearly total to 101. Okay, I'll stop bragging and get on to the meat of this here blog.

The weekend just gone, the Cosmic Bos team ventured into the forest to record our final music video for the year, we stayed in an Air B&B from the future, the house talked to us and responded to our every whim (except playing our Cosmic Bos music, Siri didn't recognise the name and kept playing us Cosmic Boys instead, Doh!) It had amazing wall art that controlled mood, and plenty of space for us to relax in (and prepare for our forest shoot), we took the time to shoot a nice time-lapse video for a song called Healin' (from the upcoming Episode 9: Six S's), which you will be able to see soon.

The main reason we were there though, was to shoot a music video for Hold Me in Slow Motion (from the aforementioned upcoming Epislode 9: Sex 6's), starring Nick Jackson as Walking Stereo, and Andrea Jackson as the Spirit of the forest. It was a joy to film, and the weather managed to be nice for one day so we could get it all done. Chris Mace stepped effortlessly into the role of Treeman (expect to see more of him, he's a rising star), and Abi Jackson & Mel Pellatt reprised their Fairies of the Forest roles. Andy Jackson directed it (and makes a tiny cameo) and several tiny insects had a nibble on us all. We don't often do on location filming (outside of the area we live) so it was an adventure (for us anyway).

This will bring to a close our 2019 podcast and video output (plus a Tiny Spaceman instalment) before we take a little Christmas break, after which we will be back for Season 2 in the new year (with a quick Best of Season 1 before that), oh, and we are making a documentary about ourselves as well, to hopefully help explain this whole thing a little better (plus be funny, hopefully).

Did I mention that our podcast is on iTunes AND Spotify, also, we have a facebook page and a YouTube channel (but that's a secret, so don't tell anyone)

Thanks for reading, you are wonderful (I don't tell you that enough), keep being an awesome human being, peace and infinite love

Cosmic Bos x

P.S - Here's our last video output for your visual pleasure: fun fact: it contains the whole cast of the upcoming forest based video.
