Hello friends,
Here is the video for ‘Everything is Okay (Live)’, this is the final song on our debut album ‘7 Billion’ which will be available to purchase from the 4th of February (this year of all years!). This is a little folky number that we wanted to include on our otherwise electronica/indietronica/folktronica record, some good old fashioned instruments being played in the traditional way (with our hands).
In these troubling and confusing times, it feels like we could all do with a little reassurance that everything is, or at least will be, okay. It will be, it always is, yet when deep in the middle of a whirlwind of chaos and uncertainty it doesn’t feel like it. But it will be okay. Humanity has endured far worse then it currently is facing, and history is replete with both negative and positive swings of fate, we can take it, everything really will be okay.
This song is based at least partially on the work of Danny Shine, mainly in its name, as he has an amazing series of videos on youtube with the title Everything is Okay, in which he goes out into the streets with a megaphone and spouts positive propaganda to confuse and befuddle the oblivious masses that pass him. We love the guy, he’s a legend. Check out his channel
So the album ‘7 Billion’ by Cosmic Bos, is ready. It’s finished and uploading to the internet shops right now, it will be available from the 4th of Feb. We are super excited about this, and hope you are too.
