Coming tomorrow is the final part of Cosmic Bos Making of an Album Podcast Special Presentation we've been doing this year, then it's onto the next record, which I am happy to announce is an EP titled Virtual Normality 2. Since Virtual Normality turns 1 on the 1st of October it will be getting a special band camp release, which we are excited about.

I also endeavour to get better at blogging and sharing what's going on with me (Andy), Nick and the wider Cosmic Bos community which is growing all the time. Thanks to the Lights and Lines Album writing competition we have made so many new musical friends and some very exciting collaborations are coming your way soon.

Anyway, you probably only came here for coffee, thanks for staying till the end.

Spaceship Earth - Cosmic Bos New Song - both versions in one blog - part of the Music Weeklies Challenge for #Spaceship

How's it going? Well I hope.

So I (Andy) have been taking part in a fun weekly musical challenge on Twitter, probably should have blogged about it ages ago, but I've been busy and lazy. Plus the blog is more for the work I do with Nick on Cosmic Bos, and that is still flowing. The summer of Bos has a couple more weeks in it, with Episode 5 of our special presentation podcast - Making of an Album coming on the 24th of this month, a video for 'Here's Tom with the Weather' featuring Bill Hicks coming out on the 23rd, and a video for Patient Mystery dropping on the 16th (probably out by the time you read this). It's a busy end to a busy Summer for Cosmic Bos.

You probably didn't click on this blog for the ramblings of a musician, you wanted to hear the Spaceship Earth song that is teased in the title, and most likely you wouldn't have even read the bit above or this bit either and just skipped straight to the goods, and I don't blame you, and if you have been foolish enough to waste time reading this bit then I commend you for your dedication to the written word in this age of image based entertainment. Long live the text!

Cosmic Bos Filter Song #7 - Rat

This was a really fun one to make, the Rat filter is simple but very effective, it really makes you look rat like, but remember, it's only a filter, it doesn't actually turn you into a rat.

Cosmic Bos Filter Song #8 - Spiderface

This is one creepy filter, the thought of having a spider that size on my face is the stuff of nightmares, I am not scared of spiders, but my face is not a place for them to be doing exercise. Also, once the initial fear wore off, it just looked tasty and I wanted to eat it.

Cosmic Bos Filter Song #9 - Sparkling

Probably one of the originals, this filter feels like old school internet, but I must admit, it is fun to sparkle for a bit.

Cosmic Bos TikTok Filter Songs - #1 Krissed, #2 Unhappy, #3 Jennifer Eyes

 Hello there,

Andy from Cosmic Bos here, introducing the first 3 entries in our brand new musical series Filter Songs

Filter Song #1 - Krissed

This filter is quite a new one and something to do with some Celebrity who I am guessing is called Krissy or something like that, and she goes round and Krisses people and leaves them Krissed. Fun stuff indeed, looks more like a ventriloquist puppet rather then a person but so be it.

Filter Song #2 - Unhappy

Something of a popular filter this one, makes your face all big and your mouth unable to turn upwards and look happy. Again, fun stuff indeed. Forced to be unhappy!

Filter Song #3 - Yennifer Eyes

This filter turns your eyes purple. I am guessing that this is based on the gorgeous Yennifer from The Witcher series on Netflix, as she has such coloured eyes, but unfortunately for me, the filter doesn't make me look anything like Yennifer, except in the eye colour department.

Musical Poems by Cosmic Bos June 2022 - Dusty Shelves, Fragments of a Fracture & How to Tie a Shoes

 Hello friends,

So June has been a month of waiting, waiting to hear about the Album in a month competition that we entered in May, waiting to release some video material (which we here at Cosmic Bos love doing). We will drop the video for Isle of Avalon as soon as the results are in, it will be in our podcast feed and I will no doubt blog about it too.

Anyway, in the meantime, here are 3 musical poems I made on TikTok, using poems from my notepad, and the cool cowboy voice effect.
