Nailed it at the Trident (live acoustic manoeuvres)

Hello friends,

Thanks for dropping by to my blog, I appreciate it I really do, in fact, there is a cosmic hug in it for you, just lean a little closer to the screen and I will administer the cyber-comic hug of a lifetime.... closer .... come on, don't be shy .... I won't try and rape you or anything!

Ok, so, cosmic hugs outta the way, let's get down to the meat and potatoes of this here page of waffle on the interweb. Back on Tuesday the 26th of June 2012 (Gregorian Calendar edition) Mr Donny Stax & myself (mr. [adj] for anyone new here) performed a short 3 song set at the Trident evening at The Quadrant in Brighton, UK. There were several acts performing, and it was a very crowded singer songwriter fest. These kind of events are usually nice and calm, and the songs are thoughtful and meaningful and have depth that is to be appreciated by the ears... we felt a little out of place to begin with, since our songs are about levitating cows and aliens and the like, and we were clearly going to be the only act that included rap as part of it, so we waiting to take our spot a little later in the evening.

When we took to the stage, something clicked for us, being as this was only our second ever gig together so many variables remained unknown, but we smashed it, connecting with the audience and feeling comfortable as we did it. Big props once again to Mr Donny Stax, a true pro if ever I met one. Also hats off to Rich and Overhead Wires for putting on the event, it was a blast.

So here for your viewing pleasure is two parts of our set, we did play 3 songs, but I have not put the video up of 'Live Up There' because we had a vid of that from our first gig.
Please enjoy and comment if it so takes your fancy

And here is part 2...

Peace and infinite love
