So friends,
Free Music, what a great concept. Your ears work just as well if the music is free. So that's what we've decided to do, just give it away. 7 songs and 4 silly skits.
It's available to download free now if you don't want to pay anything for it http://howboutthatrecords.bandcamp.com/
25 minutes of free music for you, enjoy. If you still aren't convinced, or have accidentally clicked on my blog while searching for hardcore chimp on werewolf action, then here is a sweetener on the deal for you... you can listen to 'Megastar' the opening track from 'Free Music (Donate Now)' for free right here before going and downloading it all for free.
They say the best things in life are free, and I'm not sure exactly who 'they' are, but 'they' are right in this case. Donny Stax & [adj] worked hard on the music, and are now generously giving it to you for free, you don't have to torrent it, and you don't have to rip it from youtube, you can just take it for free from http://howboutthatrecords.bandcamp.com/ where it says 'Buy' you can choose to buy it for nothing, zip, free-do-da, and you should, you really really should.
Right, that's enough grovelling to get you to take my music for free, now I'm going to go plead with starving people to take some food off my hands...
Peace and infinite free music

How to become famous (lesson 1)
So you want to be famous?
well good luck with that...
Do you want to be seen the whole world over? Be Worshipped like a demi-god?
again, good luck with that...
In some ways, you already are famous, at least to your friends and family in some small way... take solace in that, and if you want to be more famous then that, well, then you will need to develop a skill or talent of some kind. Stop wasting time on the internet trying to find a quick root to becoming famous and get on with it, do something, be creative...
Now listen to my music and help me get famous, I already put in the graft.
Now leave me a comment...
You can look like bingus and dingus too just put in some hard work and have surgery |

BKS - Truth (FREE music that you need to own)
Hello friends,
I am not big on recommendations usually, I think it's up to individuals to make their own decisions about things, but, there is one thing that I want to highly recommend to you right now. Have you heard of Truth?
Well, if you have, then you can just skip this bit and go right to the download links below and pick up your copy of BKS. If you haven't, then let me enlighten you to Truth. Truth is a rapper/producer who has been cutting up the edges of hip hop for many years on both sides of the Atlantic ocean. His music is years ahead of the competition and he continues to push them boundaries further then most jazz musicians on crack. He is a legend, basically.
I don't need to write anything about him, you are better off listening to him then reading me waffling on.
Best Kept Secret (BKS) - is Truth's new record, and it's free to download from his website http://iamstilltruth.com/
or on bandcamp right here
So now you have downloaded your copy and don't need to read anymore... let the record speak to you...
Okay, well, if you do want some more convincing then here is my review of BKS.
BKS: Best Kept Secret - Truth
13 tracks, with a handful of featuring artists, cutting edge hip hop hitting harder then your ears are probably ready for. The record as a whole
grabs you at the start and doesn't put you down until the last few beats of the final track.
'Legacy 2' starts the proceedings with a buildup that explains what to expect from BKS, setting the stage for the performance you won't be forgetting anytime soon.
'Shark in the Water' has a flow to match it's subject, Truth wraps your mind in the newspaper with the battered fish and chips, jokes, and catchy as duck ("I think we need a bigger ship"). Popping pussies like pringle cans is also one of Truths special powers (this is one of the BKS's that the title refers to).
'Nusrets Nuke' features Sukh & Tex (DGAFM artists who put out the SNT vol.1 this year) just needs to be heard, a sick blending of styles and languages. Thumbs Up to Sukh & Tex.
'Scramble' features MOK and pumps along, full of Truth's wordsmithery and a chorus that kicks doors down with ease, musical doors obviously, metaphorical musical doors, all being metaphorically kicked down.
'Twist My Fitted' opens like a movie, epic, epic movieness. This track pumps along with Truth going raw and showing how he rolls, how he use to roll, and how he's gonna roll. A veteran king of the city all over.
'Game Over' - You talking to me? You talking to me? Who the fuck do you think you're talking to?
the Taxi Driver sample sets the scene for this tune which gives further depth to Truths legacy.
'Out of Range' features Pyrelli and it bounces, sick raps from both Truth & Pyrelli, this is a driving tune, and I was forced to steal a car and break speed limits motorway style just to hear this tune the way it needed to be, at full volume with a blunt and a reckless abandon.
'Susie's Story' is probably my favourite track, a story song that grips you from the opening and takes you into Susie's life, a lyrical painting that etches itself into your skull. Just listen to it.
'BKS interlude' gives you a little break from the heaviness, a bouncy positive uplift before...
'Love Keep Rockin' with Kalenna, a killer tune, deepness, beautiful singing and meaningful words.
'Work Ethic (skit)' - Talent and Skill, put out there for ya...
'Stage Fright' featuring Jermaine Riley, another big epic tune, full of powerful raps, a catchy chorus, and depth. If you hadn't noticed, I've got a lot of love for this record. Finally...
'Sandstorm' brings this epic musical journey to a close in movie style, Matrix real, catchy and as with all of this record, deep and meaningful. This is my other favourite tune on this awesome album.
There you go, a full review, now download it already!!!
In a time when music seems mainly fluffy and easy, a record like this that pulls so many punches, takes risks and has real meaning throughout is greatly needed. Huge props to Truth and big shout out to Cito for producing this modern Gem.
Keep an eye on DGAFM, they are doing big things...

The Legendary Jipsy Magic
So friends,
Have you heard of Jipsy Magic? If you have, then good on you, you should buy their EP available on Itunes from here - check out the reviews, seems to be well received. If you haven't heard of them, then, well, they are a 5 piece band from Brighton, UK that have been tearing up the local scene something special. They have been featured in local press and music mags as well, expect them to be hitting the national scene very soon.
So, their debut EP is called 'We Can, We Should, We Will' and as previously mentioned it is available on Ituens by following the link here - the bit that changes when you put your cursor on it
It has 7 pumping tunes on it ranging from the intense frantic nature of 'Double Vision', through their debut single 'Girls In The City' which has a highly amusing video to go with it (see below), to 'Flower Waiting to Grow' (my personal fave, such a groovy track with sweet personal lyrics), to 'Heartbreaker' which is contender for oldest song in the world, to 'Like Like Love' the catchy one that gets stuck firmly in your earworm regions and has you going "like it like this, like it like that" for several hours after initial listening, to "Lindus" which has rapping in it and also a video (again, see below), and ending up on 'Silky Sals Rhythm and Blues".
Jipsy Magic have been playing all of these songs and more live around Brighton and other places for a while now. You should check them out if you get the chance, well worth it in this humble adventuring creatives opinion. Their live shows are often fuelled with a magical music vibe and some hilarious interactions on stage. Chris - the lead singer, comes out with some of the most amusing stage banter ever heard by human beings, and Nick - the lead guitarist and rapper! always tells a very special joke during the Nick Jackson Jokeing Jokers Jambery Fest! Add the fantastic line up of Chalie on Drums, James on Bass and other Nick on Keys and you have one very special slice of music magic...they call it Jipsy Magic.
So, here are their two video's that go with the EP above that you can buy from Itunes on links such as this one right here.
Girls in the City video
Lindus video
So there you have it, a taste of Jipsy Magic, I suggest you now do further research into them and become a rabid fan so you can say you were there in the early days before they became so famous that they won't talk to normal people anymore...
You can check out their website as well at http://www.jipsymagic.com show them the love...
Peace and infinite love

Trips down memory road to musicville
Hello friends,
A year ago I was in Holland with my Beauty making music and soaking up the sun in-between the random thunder storms and cloud bother. It was a great fun time, and I wrote an album to go with it. 12 solo acoustic tracks recorded in Den Haag near an amazing bakery and a sex shop (see previous years blog for full details). To get into the summery spirit this year I decided to listen to the album I made again.
Now, if you want to, you can listen to it too, streaming right here from soundcloud.
Usual collection of unusual topics for songs. Track 5, 'Prime' became the basis for the song 'In My Prime' done by Donny Stax & Achillies. You can find that on Mr Stax's sound cloud - http://soundcloud.com/donnystax
This time this year I am currently working on a 2'nd album with Donny Stax, doing some music with the awesome Jipsy Magic, and making an electronica album on my own as well. Exciting times again, different from last year, but still exciting, no worries!
Peace and infinite love

Conversation with God - 10 things to think about (Agnostic edition)
Hello friends,
So I was having this in-depth conversation with God and she suggested that I should write down some of our discussion (it was rather one sided conversation, she does talk lots and I don't have much to say back).
Right, now I can see how this might just sound like a load of old pig testicles dangling in a psychopaths bathroom being prepared for human consumption as gourmet sausages, and if that is how you intend to read this then be prepared to tutt and scoff at every mention of God. Brush this off as some religious mumbo doo-hicky from a crack pot who clearly knows nothing about the world and move on with your merry life.
I don't have a religious connection to God, in fact, the word God has been so twisted and tainted by strange notions of man in the clouds smite you down judgement that I originally wasn't going to use it for this blog, but whatever source of energy it is that I converse with in a meditative state, it appears to be much greater and infinitely wiser then me.
Okay, still with me?
Here we go then...
1. The World is always changing and you are just an individual organism sharing the surface of it with trillions of other organisms. You are just as unique, special, wonderful as every other organism, you are not more important then any other organism. Your ego makes you think you are more important, this is a survival mechanism imprinted into all organisms for survival reasons.
2. Death is merely the beginning of your next journey to life.
3. Connections with other organisms for the positive advancement of all involved is a necessary development of life. Cross species interaction even more so then inner species interaction.
4. All of everything is energy
5. Thoughts are energy (because everything is energy!) and have a more fundamental impact on your life then you could ever imagine.
6. Everything that you consume, from food, to TV, to conversation, to reading makes up your energy signature.
7. Every organism that has ever, and will ever, exist has a unique energy signature.
8. Every energy signature has some level of control over themselves, and some level of game rule with which to interact with other energy signatures.
9. Don't give wine to Bonobo's
10. Now smile and enjoy yourself, this is life baby, and it's one hell of a ride!
- Did you make it this far? Well done, I applaud you and give you a cyber pat on the back. Now, make sure you remember number 9, it is the most important one.
Peace and infinite love
